HEALTHY HAIR?! TIPS & TRICKS

HELLO there… I feel like this post is MUCH needed because summer takes a to on your hair.. and it’s time for some major hair rehab. Here are my top tips to keeping your hair silky, frizz free, & shiny!!

MASK IT. Seriously!!! If you know me, you know I can’t live without my Pureology Orogold hair mask. This is a major shot of hydration and completely rehabs my thick curly hair. Sometimes I even leave it on overnight…

OLAPLEX. I’ve already talked about this a million times, but its the ultimate pre shampoo treatment, even the kardashiand swear by it.

KERATIN- okay okay, so this is a pricier one, but if you are able to get a keratin treatment.. I love them! I go to Keratinbar in Chelsea and get the Brazilian Keratin treatment once per year. It cuts your dry time, makes your hair silkier and feel SO healthy! I can notice when I need it again.. I’m addicted! Plus, I feel like it makes my hair look longer and the ends silkier. Im all about the long silky hair.
SILK PILLOW CASES: A must have. I change my sheets 1-2 times a week, bur I have to change my silk pillow cases every few days. The silk is amazing for your skin amd hair, it keeps moisture and reduces damage.

WATER: Okay.. quick math lesson, ready? Take your weight & divide it in half. That’s how many ounces of water you need to be drinking a day. Trust me, it’s going to benefit more than just your hair.

Collagen & biotin: I add collagen peptides to my green smoothie in the morning & take biotin too. Totally helps!! & collagen is amazing for your skin!

Dry shampoo: If you’re washing your hair more than 2 times a week… no need!! It’s actually super damaging and drying to your hair. Trust me on this one… dry shampoo will be your new best friend.
