Heyyyyaaa! Cannot believe it’s almost the end of February already, how crazy is that?! ANYWAY- Lately I’ve been loving eating bulletproof, and I have to say this is one of my favorite new recipes: Taco Hot Dog Salad with a creamy avocado dressing, Best part- it’s dairy free, low carb, keto, paleo, gluten free & super nourishing & filled with healthy fats. Def. would add this to a meal plan if your trying to get healthy & lean for spring or summer(:
I would typically eat this at 1 or 2 pm, after my coffee, which technically is intermittent fasting (click here for more info on this!). Consuming healthy fats is so good for hair, skin, and nails, but it also is amazing for satiating the hunger hormones in your body which promotes weight loss. It also feeds your brain (which is mostly fat) and regulates your hormones and gives you steady energy levels (seriously, TONS of energy)
CREAMY KETO AVO DRESSING
- 1/2 avo
- 1 to 2 tbsp MCT oil (or coconut oil- I use Brain Octane)
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 sliced cucumber
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- & throw in some pink salt & a spring onion!
For the salad I mixed some crunchy romaine, spinach, grass fed hot-dog (lol, you can use salmon, grilled chicken, or a hard-boiled egg) and shake it up!!
