HEALTHY EATING HACK: OVERNIGHT OATS


fullsizerender-10Hi Hi- Hello!! I’m on a weekend birthday trip to Orlando, currently drinking my morning earl grey tea & writing. Honestly, this weather has lifted my mood, energy, & motivation by a million percent. And a much needed time to regroup with some family

Anyways- on to the topic of this post and to something I literally have been craving way too much.

OVERNIGHT OATS

Did I mention- ZERO prep time in the AM? ZERO.

Which means you have no excuses to eat healthy. none.

Okay you really don’y even need any measuring cups. Take a container (BPA free please(; ) and pour your old fashioned oats into it. Top it off with almond milk (or any milk substitute you enjoy).

Now, that’s the foundation of your breakfast. I love adding chia seeds, flax seeds, a little dark organic maple, tons of berries, bananas, pecans or walnuts, cinnamon, (sometimes turmeric!) and a little pumpkin pie spice.

I love coming home, throwing this all in a mason jar and being done. Honestly it never gets boring because its so easy to switch up!

& TBH, I hate cooked oatmeal. Its so thick & hot, and the taste just doesn’t do it for me. This tastes a MILLION times better! Trust me.

SO- try starting your day with a hot water and lemon & take your probiotic. Once your ready for breakfast, have your overnight oats and cold brew or green tea & tell me how you feel (:
